Climate change is one of the biggest issues facing the world today – and it affects every one of us in Brent too.
We all need to take action to deal with the problem. That includes government, businesses, councils and us as individual residents. When running Brent Council between 2006 and 2010 the Liberal Democrats developed the Brent Climate Change Strategy.
We also launched the Brent Climate Change Pledge for individuals and businesses. Liberal Democrat Leader Councillor Pail Lorber and pupils from Roe Green Primary School in Brent were the first to sign.
